Racquetball is in a state of change right now, and it seems as though it is important now, more than ever, to value, cherish, and cultivate the relationships that make the sport so great. Us “die hards” amount to only a mere fraction of the sport of racquetball, but the dynamic that we have created has become something that is an important part of all of our lives. The work we do to grow the sport we love, even at the small grassroots level, adds up and DOES mean something.
We have become accustomed to many things over the years, and sometimes we all need to stop and be thankful for what we have in the sport, and not take a single moment, or gesture of appreciation for granted.
That hashtag can mean a lot of things. Whether it is our manufacturer’s rep, local tournament director, club league organizer, or local sponsor who supports professional and/or junior racquetball. If you have these people in your racquetball life…thank them, appreciate them, and find a way to do something for them to show your support in return.
